Cool
Stuff:
I
had the privilege of living
in the Smoky Mountains for four
years of my life. So naturally
for more reason than one the
Smoky Mountain National Park
holds a special place in my
heart. Specifically areas
like Mt. Leconte, the Greenbrier
National Park area among many
others. Check out the
official site of the GSMNP for
loads of super information about
this great asset of our nation!

Yep,
even I care about abs. But like
everyone else...I've figured
out that it's just not that
easy to look fab like those
Hollywood folks seem to be able
to get for whatever movie they
must get ripped for. If you've
seen Brad Pitt in
Fight Club or Robert
Downing, Jr. in Iron
Man 2 or ALL the guys in
Spartacas: Blood and Sand, then
you know what I'm talking about.
I think it's amazing that these
guys get ripped for the roles
they take on. And they are probably
hired for these roles in confidence
that they'll prepare for the
part and excel at it! But
haven't you wondered how
they do it? Me too. I'm
an active gal, love the outdoors,
box and lift weights and such...but
I can't say I have ripped abs.
So what's the secret?

You
guessed it, I'm a geek at heart.
So when I "stumbled"
across this site, naturally
I had to look around and I loved
what I found here!!! Be
sure to check out the "wi-fi
detector t-shirt!"

Yep,
I served in the US Army. So
naturally I'm a bit of a patriot.
Actually long before I was in
the Army I was a patriot, but
that's another story. Check
out these cool army images available
as at army.mil. Pictured
left are US Army Rangers. Hoooaaaaah!

Yes,
I love cycling, mainly mountain
biking, but I also love vintage
prints. Close as I'll get to
mtn biking here I suppose. Anyway,
check out this super cool vintage
print on art.com.

The
Grand Canyon is certainly one
of my favorite National Parks.
I've been there once as
a kid and vowed to return for
a minimum of one week to explore
all it's wonders. On my
"list of things to do"
is to raft the gorge of the
Colorado River on a multi-week
trip. Yep, sign me up
for that. I want to see
this canyon's beauty from the
river's perspective.

I stumbled
across this photo one way or
another. Never have I
seen boulders like these and
I think in some strange way
I'm jealous that they got to
travel and paddle these rare
gems!!! Absolutely gorgeous
nonetheless!!! Anyhow, this
comes from a kayaker's blog.
Check out what these crazy
folks did....in the mean time
stumbling across some gorgeous
scenery!
