Firebuilding: Yes,
it's an art...but a simple
one at that. During
this segment of our kick-off
course, we'll be teaching
firebuilding basics. Everything
you need to know to wow
your family or friends the next time
you go camping...from how
to start a campfire from one strike
of the match, to how to
keep it going once the kindling
burns off. No experience
necessary.
Knot
Tying: What pray
tell do you use knots for?
Everything from tying
your boat to the dock, to
tying down your 4-wheeler
to the trailer, to fishing
knots and everything in
between. We'll be
teaching a few basic surefire
knots for those moments
when you can wow even yourself.
You've always wanted
to learn knot tying, so
why not now? No experience
necessary.
How
to pee in the woods: You
may be laughing, but I'm
amazed at how many women
I've talked to who have
no idea how to pee in the
woods and said, "I'd
love to know how to do that."
It's really very simple
once you understand one
basic principle.
What
to bring: Women love
to learn together, so bring
a friend! Wear comfortable
clothes (no need to put on your
make-up
for this class) and comfy shoes.
And bring a
bottle of water (you might get
thirsty from all the fun we'll
be having together). Please come prepared to
have a great time...no matter what!
Please leave jewelry and other expensive
belongings at home. So that we can focus on being outdoors, and part of a
group, please plan to limit use of electronic devices such as cell phones to
before and after the session.
